The compact USB-operated optical oxygen meter Firesting O2 unifies several innovative technological improvements offering significant advantages compared to other fiber-optic oxygen meters. This multipurpose oxygen meter works with all oxygen sensor types available from Pyro Science comprising
- Needle-Type Sensors (fixed or retractable, tip Ø 50-430μm)
- Bare Fiber Sensors (tip Ø 50-430μm)
- Robust Miniprobes (tip Ø 3mm)
- Contactless Sensors (e.g. Sensor Spots, Sensor Cuvettes, Flow-Through Cells)
Furthermore, most of these sensor types are available as

The versatile logging software Firesting Logger allows simultaneous measurements with 1, 2 or 4 (or multiple) oxygen sensors in different possible logging modes. An additional temperature sensor allows to monitor the temperature in the measuring setup and to automatically compensate the oxygen sensor signals for temperature changes.
